When a turbo needs repair

Loss of power, blue or black smoke, whistling, higher oil consumption, boost pressure codes (P0299, P0234) and limp mode are the most common signs. The earlier you check, the cheaper the repair.

Why repair instead of replace

If the turbo housings are intact, a repair usually costs noticeably less than a new turbo, and with proper balancing and calibration it works like new. After diagnostics we will tell you honestly whether a repair makes sense.
